Empowering, equipping, and enabling the women in Ugandan slums and villages through skills training and discipleship through God's Word
Feet of Mercy exists to bring the hope of salvation while also providing skills training for the poorest of the poor women in the slums and villages of Uganda. We are currently teaching women how to sew reusable sanitary pads and diapers, but we will be adding skills such as soap making, jewelry making, tailoring, hairstyling, and agriculture (urban and village) as funds allow. While training these women, Feet of mercy will also share the gospel and provide discipleship as part of the training program. The goal of the skills training and discipleship is multiplication. Feet of Mercy seeks to see Ugandan women training and discipling other Ugandan women through house churches and business co-ops. Feet of Mercy will also be providing Mama Kits and Mosquito nets to pregnant women in order for them to safely deliver a baby either in the hospital, clinic, or home. Mosquito nets will offer protection from Malaria to both mother and infant.
